Received this pic and recipe from Meryl yesterday, perfect for a hot summer day~! "Put regular plain yogurt ( organic is best) in ice cube trays and drop 2-3 fresh blueberries in each one. My guys love these frozen treats that are healthy for them too. Thanks, Meryl~!
Here is another recipe, a favorite of mine -also frozen, guaranteed to taste good and last longer. A great " appetizer" snack for your pet to munch while you dine on the patio, or in peaceful quiet, air conditioning bliss.
Swirly Cream Bone- 1/2 c. of natural peanut butter, 1/2 cup of organic plain yogurt, chopped biscuits, flavored and all natural. Spoon the ingredients and stuff in a hallow bone or " busy" toy. Seal with swirly mix, stick a cookie on top and freeze. Guaranteed to please!
Don't forget to have some water fun. Fill up the unused sand box or kiddie pool with water and let your dog have some rompin' wet fun! Offer them ice cubes often for enjoyment and fun. Ice cubes are great stimulation for chewing puppies, toss a couple in their crate for some extra fun!
Until next time, Tailwags!~
