Dog Gone Good Stew Grain Free 1 pkg chicken thighs 3 carrots – cut up to bite size pieces 2 zucchinis, one green one yellow 1 sweet potato slices & cubed 3 celery stalks chopped In a crock pot add water to cover chicken thighs. Add the vegetables first then place the chicken thighs on top. Cover the crock pot and cook on low or high if time is a factor. Remove the chicken pieces, let cool and remove meat from bone. NO COOKED BONES Remove vegetables, mash together, combine with chicken bites. This can be served as a whole meal also as a topper to your regular dry food. Freeze additional servings in containers until ready to use. Dog Gone Good Mutt Loaf 1 ½ lbs. Ground turkey, chicken or beef 1C cooked brown rice 2 eggs 1/3 c wheat germ 2 tbs safflower oil 2 C raw carrots chopped 1 pinch parsley 1 C low fat cottage cheese Cook rice, drain and put in a mixing bowl. In a separate mixing bowl, combine meat, eggs, veggies & cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly Add wheat germ, rice and oil. Mix well Fold mixture into a loaf pan, bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour or until done. When loaf has cooled, slice and serve. Cover and store leftovers in refrigerator for several days.
